How to Wrap Text With an HTML Element, With Vim.

Oct 06, 2022 | O. Wolfson

To wrap a line of text with vim, first enter visual mode by pressing the v key. Highlight the text that you want to wrap. Press S, capital S. Then enter the html element that you want to wrap the selected text with, like this for div: <div>.

Note this solution is working in VS Code. I am using the VsCode Vim extension.

//from this
Some Text
//to this
<div>Some Text</div>
